Milwaukee, Wisconsin, June 17, 2025- Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, announced today the launch of PointMax ™  I/O, This is a flexible remote input/output (I/O) system designed to help manufacturers cope with increasingly complex modern industrial operations.

Due to the increasingly dynamic and interconnected manufacturing environment, the ability to quickly adjust system architecture is more important than ever before. With the growth of production demand and the reduction of equipment space, traditional I/O systems based on a large number of wiring and large control cabinets are becoming increasingly difficult to expand and maintain. In order to keep up with the pace of development, manufacturers need flexible and efficient solutions to achieve design flexibility without unnecessarily increasing complexity.

PointMax I/O aims to address the practical constraints faced by manufacturers on the factory floor. It adopts a modular design that supports scalable and easily reconfigurable I/O deployment modes, allowing engineers to no longer be constrained by rigid centralized control systems. PointMax I/O provides the flexibility required for today's fast-paced manufacturing operations, whether for new machines or existing equipment.

Karthikeyan Mahalingam, Product Manager at Rockwell Automation, stated, "Customers are seeking smarter and more adaptable solutions to eliminate resistance in system design and maintenance processes. PointMax I/O provides a simpler way to connect devices, gather insights, and maintain smooth production operations, which can effectively meet this demand. The purpose is to give manufacturers more control and reduce expansion constraints.

PointMax I/O provides excellent design freedom and seamlessly integrates with Logix 5000 controllers, making it ideal for high-performance environments with reliability and real-time communication requirements. It can also adapt to harsh working conditions and is an ideal choice for various application scenarios.

This system will make its debut at the ROKLive EMEA event in Rome this week, where participants can explore related technologies through live demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and technical conferences.

PointMax I/O is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2025. If you need more information, please feel free to contact us and we will provide you with the most competitive prices and the best service.
